Learning Routine Requirements Seminar
At 10.30 A.M. on 3rd September, the preschool formative education for new students from Grade 7, other known as the learning routine requirements seminar was held in the School Lecture Hall as scheduled, which was attended by more than 400 teachers and students from Grade 7 of Anqing Foreign Language School’s Junior High Department in the east campus and presided over by Deputy Director Wang Shengxiang with the Junior High Division who also delivered a themed motivational speech.
At the beginning of the meeting, by means of ‘Regenerative Tercel’, Deputy Director Wang Shengxiang reminded the students to dare to get rid of bad habits and lead them to conduct analysis with profundity and an easy-to-understand approach in three aspects as follows: favorable study habits, ambitious learning objectives and tenacious learning perseverance. On the other hand, Deputy Director Wang Shengxiang put forward a series of rationalization proposals and proceeded specific requests in eight dimensions such as the good daily routines, correct reading and lecture-attending posture, favorable class habits, habits of finishing homework independently, answering the papers earnestly, correcting papers without delay, preparing the wrong topic set, thinking diligently and working with perseverance.
To conclude, the whole lecture created a relaxing communication environment in the real-time interaction mode, which aroused students’ thinking and guided them to participate in the discussion actively through self-analysis and self-reflection. What’s more, the seminar centered on the examples around students, which was thought-provoking and received their active response. Therefore, students at the seminar were eager to try and ready to face the challenges. We firmly believe that they will definitely and invincibly move forward in the subsequent junior high learning journey.
